Paragon Perks
At Paragon Synchro, we are proud to offer several resources to help our skaters and their families. We provide resources for mental health, physical health, economic hardship, internship opportunities, and more.
The John Towill Scholarship

At Paragon Synchro, we are proud to offer the John Towill Scholarship, a fund created to fully cover one skater's tuition to the team for a season. Paragon Synchro grew from a previous synchro team in New Jersey, organized by a wonderful, dedicated coach by the name of John Towill. John has touched the lives of countless skaters, so much so that many of them now fund this scholarship. The skater awarded this scholarship is one who shows the spirit of a true, dedicated teammate and can demonstrate financial hardship.
The Lynn Alberi Scholarship

Paragon Synchro grew from a previous synchro team based in New Jersey, which sadly collapsed a few years back. This team stood for family, hard work, and good sportsmanship, and knew that a good team was defined by the bond between skaters, not the number of medals you brought home. Lynn Alberi was an essential coach in curating the team's loving environment, and as such we have created this scholarship to honor her. This is a partial scholarship which covers some of one skater's tuition for a season, and is available depending on the funding left over after the team's necessary expenses. The skater awarded this scholarship should demonstrate these principles, as well as financial need.
Did someone say FREE SKATES?

You heard that right! Paragon Synchro has it's own, rather large Skate Stash comprised of gently used (and some new!) skates! Skaters who join Paragon and are in need of a pair of skates can choose a pair for free to keep! We have skates ranging from those appropriate for beginner skaters all the way up to those doing double jumps- a $300-$1400 value! Another freebie you get when you join is a personalized team water bottle!
Health Counseling

Our Athlete Health Counselor, Kiernan Goodwin, is an alumni of ours and has agreed to work with our skaters for free! Whether you need mental health, physical health, economic or career resources, Kiernan's got the connections!
Behavior Therapy

In addition to directing Paragon Synchro, Courtney is a trained Behavior Therapist, and is happy to offer complimentary behavior therapy sessions to any skaters in need!
Medical Assistant on Staff

Our Synchro Director Courtney has also trained as a Medical Assistant, as well as for Bridgewater's Ambulance Squad. It is for this reason that we are proud to say that we have someone medically trained at every practice!
Physical Therapy

Several of our staff are volunteers and former teammates of ours, and as such we have lots of connections! Please let us know if your skater is in need of any physical therapy, and we can put you into contact with our own personal physical therapy resource.
Job, Internship & Volunteer Credit

We are happy to offer job, internship & volunteer credit, along with a professional reference to any skater/guardian who would like to help out the team! Whether you're interested in leadership, team management, attire, event organization, financial literacy, or something more we always find a way to help our teammates progress their careers and college aspirations. Please note that as per NJ labor laws, interns/volunteers must be over 14 years of age.
